Marc de la Haye is a DJ and upcoming producer who’s based in the cities Bern and Fribourg. He’s well known for his sets, inwhich he wanishes the boardes of electronic music and ancient, tribalistic elements.

Marc gave his attention to electronic music when he started doing radio emissions for a local student radio in Fribourg, Switzerland. Together with his friend Bronson, they’ve formed a duo project called “The RetroFuture” in 2014, which dissolved a few months later. In April 2015, the two lads formed the House and Techno label DIFFIKULT in cooperation with Sonidy and Gesang- & Klanglos. Within the following years, the label became one of the leading event labels in city of Fribourg. E&A Rüeger joined the team later on.

In December 2015, Marc experienced a turning point in his musical living. Being part of the crowd at the well-known “Transmusicales de Rennes” in France, the performance of artists like Mawimbi and others really touched him. Inspired by what he witnessed at this festival, he started to focus more on atmospheric and shamanistic sounds in his sets and podcasts. Today, Marc de la Haye stands for spiritual, tribalistics sets, inwhich he performs surgeon-like crossovers.

Aside his work as a DJ, Marc de la Haye is the man behind the label and community Wild Silence. Furthermore, he formed the comittee for electronic music at the club Fri-Son with other label oweners and headed the communications and promotion for the Duplex Festival at Fri-Son for four years.

In 2019, Marc founded the label Wild Silence, which is dedicated to ethnic sounds. Wild Silence hosts its own podcast series and is up to release its own music.

Within the last years, Marc had the honour to share the decks with several well-known artists such as Viken Arman (Denature Records /FR), Inga Mauer (shtum / RU), Busy P (Ed Banger Records / FR), Soukie & Windish (URSL / DE) or Christian Löffler (Ki Records / DE). Marc de la Haye has been featured on different podcast series such as Oslated Mixes (KR), Velkan Records (AR), Never Ending Dream (DE) or The Deep Control (RU).
